John D. Tulenko is a producer, videographer, and documentary editor. His work has garnered numerous awards including the Peabody Award, multiple Emmy-finalist nominations, Ciné Awards, and other recognitions.
From 2000-2006, John produced and edited prime-time documentaries for PBS including two for the prestigious series FRONTLINE. He then moved to The NewsHour and contributed 50 in-depth, original stories
as an on-air reporter from 2008-2016.
John has conducted hundreds of on-camera interviews and takes a visuals-first approach to editing and storytelling. Throughout the process he treats
the people in his videos with care and respect.
Since 2016, John has created cinematic short-docs and other non-fiction content for Matter of Fact with Soledad O’Brien, Lincoln Square Productions, and The Hechinger Report and its partners HuffPost, The Christian Science Monitor, and USA Today Networks, among others.
Companies and entrepreneurs also turn to John for help telling their stories. Recent clients include Cirque Du Soleil, UBS Bank, Mount Sinai
